Appeal to Fife dog owners after farm animals attacked

Dog owners have been urged to keep their pets under control after a rise in attacks on livestock.

Animals including sheep and chicken have been killed or injured in recent incidents, said Fife Police.

Aa spokesman said: “This is very upsetting for the owner of the livestock and also carries a financial impact.”

Police said dog owners were responsible for their pets

The spokesman added: “By not having control of your dog you risk the safety and life of livestock and your dog.”
