Emergency services were called out at 7.53pm and firefighters had to use four hose-reel jets and thermal imaging cameras to handle the fire.

The stretch of Leven Road alongside the hotel was closed while the emergency services were in attendance.

Police Scotland would like to thank the public with their inquiries.
