Bus window smashed in Methil

Police in Levenmouth are seeking witnesses after reckless vandals smashed a double decker bus window yesterday.

The incident occurred around 5pm on Laburnum Road, Methil, and police report that two youths, aged around 13-14, were spotted in the vicinity.

One was described as wearing dark coloured clothing, while the other wore a grey headed top.

Sergeant Craig Fyall said: “Fortunately nobody was injured but this was reckless behaviour that showed complete disregard for the safety of others.

“It has cost the bus company a considerable amount to repair the damage and find a replacement bus.”
