Cardenden man admitted driving a car without a licence and insurance

A Cardenden man who admitted driving a car without a licence and insurance has had his sentence deferred until next month.

Dylan Beveridge, of Whitehall Avenue, appeared before Sheriff James Williamson at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.

Beveridge, 23, admitted on November 1 this year at an address in Craigside Road, Cardenden he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause fear or alarm in that he repeatedly shouted, swore and uttered offensive remarks.

He also admitted in the same date, in the same place, he drove a car without holding a valid driving licence. He further admitted in the same date and in the same place, he drove a car without insurance, contrary to the Road Traffic Act 1988.

Sheriff Williamson deferred sentence on Beveridge until December 11 for a criminal justice social work report and said the case would be heard at Dunfermline Sheriff Court. Bail was granted on the condition Beveridge does not enter an address in Craigside Road in Cardenden.
