Couple charged with fire flat break in
Police in Fife have arrested and a charged a 40-year-old male and a 36-year-old female in connection with the break-in at the flat of Leven fire victim Scott Kerr.
Mr Kerr (40) died after a fire broke out in his flat in Waggon Road on February 21.
Last Saturday his parents and brother Alex entered the flat for the first time since the tragedy to discover it had been broken into and some of Mr Kerr’s belongings had been stolen.
A spokesman for Levenmouth CID said he would like to thank the public for their assistance with the investigation.
The pari are scheduled to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court today (Thursday).
