Court: Kirkcaldy man set car on fire

A Kirkcaldy man who admitted setting a car on fire has had his sentence deferred until next month.

Ross Hopgood, of Harris Drive, appeared before Sheriff James Williamson at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.

Hopgood, 27, admitted that on October 14 this year at an address in Earlston Way in Glenrothes he wilfully set fire to a motor vehicle causing damage to the vehicle.

Sheriff Williamson continued the case to allow for the preparation of a criminal justice social work report and deferred sentence until December 3.
