A pensioner is to stand trial accused of “dangerously” driving his car into the side of a house.
James Easton (72) is alleged to have mounted a pavement in Cupar on February 9 this year before ploughing into the side of a bungalow.
The smash is said to have caused damage to the blue Honda Civic he was allegedly driving as well as injuring resident Christene Armit.
Easton, who is from Cupar, denied a charge of dangerous driving on summary complaint at Dundee Sheriff Court.
Sheriff Alastair Carmichael set a trial date in January and ordered Robertson to attend a pre-trial hearing in December.
