Fife court date in connection with drugs find

Police arrested and charged a 38-year-old man after a quantity of cocaine was seized in Cowdenbeath.

The drugs, worth in the region of £90,550, were discovered at an address in Union Street during a search conducted yesterday.

​The man was expected to appear today at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.

Detective Constable Michael Hunter said: “We are committed to tackling the scourge of illegal drugs in our communities and targeting those who profit from harming our communities by supplying drugs.

“Anyone with information about ongoing criminal activity involving drugs is asked to contact us on 101, or make an anonymous report on 0800 555 111.”
