Fife man admits damaging property, assaulting his partner and another man

Sentence has been deferred on a Glenrothes man who admitted damaging property, assaulting his partner and another man.

Dale Smith, of Alexander Road, appeared via video link from prison at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.

Smith, 37, admitted that on September 15, 2020 at an address in Kirk Drive, Leslie, he recklessly destroyed property and repeatedly head butted and punched a wall.

He further admitted that on the same date and in the same place, he assaulted his partner and repeatedly pushed her to the body.

Smith also admitted on the same date and in the same place he assaulted a man by repeatedly punching him to the head and body and pushed him to the floor.

On these charges, Sheriff Williamson deferred sentence until February 3 next year.

On another charge where Smith admitted that on September 30 this year at an address in Provosts Land, Glenrothes, he damaged property and broke bail conditions, Sheriff Williamson placed him on supervision for two years.
