Fife man assaulted woman and attempted to punch her

A Fife man who admitted assaulting a woman and attempted to punch her has had his sentence deferred.

Mark Sutherland, Kingslaw, East Wemyss, had his case call at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.

Sutherland, 40, admitted on November 29, 2020 at an address in Langside Drive, Kennoway, he repeatedly shouted, uttered threats and acted aggressively.

He further admitted that on the same date, in the same place, he assaulted a woman and attempted to punch her. He committed the offences on bail.

Sentence was deferred until February 18. Bail continued.
