Fife man fined £400 for assaulting his wife

A Fife man who admitted assaulting his wife has been fined £400.

Kevin Chapman, of Overton Mains, Kirkcaldy appeared before Sheriff Keith O’Mahoney at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.

Chapman, 58, admitted on December 21, 2020 at an address in Lady Alice Path, Glenrothes he assaulted his wife by striking her on the body with a walking stick.

He further admitted on February 22, 2021 at the same address he assaulted his wife by kicking her on the body.

The case called at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.

Sheriff O’Mahoney fined him £400 for the offences.
