Fife man obstructed police officers and struggled violently

A Leven man who admitted obstructing two police constables at Kirkcaldy Police Station and struggled violently is due to be sentenced next year.

Scott Vettrino, of Beurard, Leven, appeared before Sheriff Alistair Thornton at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.

Vettrino, 32, admitted that on January 1 this year at Police Scotland, St Brycedale Avenue, Kirkcaldy he resisted, obstructed and hindered two police constables in the execution of their duty and violently struggled.

Sheriff Thornton deferred sentence until January 7 and Vettrino’s bail was continued.
