Fife man punched and kicked nurse at a Kirkcaldy hospital
A Fife man who admitted repeatedly punching and kicking a nurse at a Kirkcaldy hospital has had his sentence deferred until April 20.
Darren Whyte, of Victoria Street, Ladybank, appeared at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.
Whyte, 34, admitted that on June 25, 2020 at Kirkcaldy Hospital Acute Admissions Unit, Hayfield Road, Kirkcaldy, he assaulted a nurse by repeatedly punching and kicking him on his head and body.
Sentence deferred for the preparation of a Drug Treatment and Testing Order report and for Whyte to be of good behaviour.
