A Methil man has been fined £400 for sending his partner numerous unwanted text messages and emails.

Steven Paterson, of Dubbieside, appeared at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.

Paterson, 39, admitted between September 1 and November 21, 2020 at his home address and elsewhere he sent his partner numerous unwanted text messages and emails, contacted her on social media, threatened to disclose information about her and sent her mother picture messages.

The court heard the relationship had broken down.
