A Fife man has been sentenced to 225 hours of unpaid work for having a stanley knife without lawful authority.

Kieran Smith, of Rolland Avenue, East Wemyss, appeared before Sheriff James Williamson at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.

Smith, 23, admitted that on December 16, 2019 at Kirk Wynd in Kirkcaldy he had a stanley knife without lawful authority.

Sheriff Williamson ordered Smith to carry out a Community Payback Order with him to be placed under supervision for 12 months and to carry out 225 hours of unpaid work.
