A Fife man who admitted wasting emergency services time by persistently calling 999 will be sentenced in the new year.
Kirkcaldy man Paul Farquhar appeared before Sheriff Alistair Thornton at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.
Farquhar, 58, of Redcraigs, admitted that on July 3 this year at his home address he did, for the purpose of causing annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety to the emergency services, persistently make use of a public electronic communications network by repeatedly and unneccessarily telephoning 999.

Sheriff Thornton deferred sentence until February 25, 2021.
