Storrar also admitted on the same date on Dura Crescent to Bankhead and elsewhere she drove a car without insurance and driving a car with a provisional licence, not being accompanied by a qualified driver and not displaying ‘L’ plates on the vehicle.

The Procurator Fiscal Depute told the court: “The witness was asleep on October 16 this year and woke up to find her car was not in the driveway. She believed the accused was responsible as she had access to the car keys and no-one else did. Police attended.”

The Procurator Fiscal Depute said officers traced the accused who admitted driving the car: “A roadside breath test was carried out which she failed and she was taken to the police station and kept in custody. CCTV had showed she was driving the car.”

Sheriff Williamson called for the preparation of a criminal justice social work report and deferred sentence until December 3, disqualifying Storrar from driving meantime.
