Shaw’s defence agent told the court that Shaw’s husband had a serious illness which had left him unable to work and she was also caring for a young child which had put a considerable strain on her.
Her lawyer said: “She was not in her right mind when this happened. She has struggled with the court process and this is something she doesn’t want to repeat.
"She has had to drop from full time to part-time work to help care for her husband.”
