Glenrothes man admits assaulting police officer

A Glenrothes man who admitted assaulting a police officer has had his case continued until March 18.

Darren Hain, of Bevan Court, was not in Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court when the case called.

Hain, 34, admitted on April 26, 2020 at his home address he shouted, swore and challenged others to a fight.

On the same date and at the same place he admitting assaulting a police officer by attempting to kick him on the body and attempting to strike him on the head with his head.
