Glenrothes murder: Police launch online link to help track killer

Detectives investigating the murder of a man in Glenrothes have launched an online link to allow people to come forward with information.

Mark Deavin, 41, was found injured in the town's Boblingen Way around 1.40am on Saturday.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police urgently want to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time - or heard or saw anything suspicious.

Detective Chief Inspector Kevin Houliston of the Major Investigation Team, said: “We have set up a website to give members of the public access to an online form which sends information directly to the enquiry team.

“You can chose to remain anonymous when submitting information.”

Mark, from Glenrothes, was described as a “much loved brother and uncle” in a statement released by his devastated family.

They said he would be sorely missed by all. Crimestoppers on 080 555 111.
