Hunt for driver who fled car after police chase through Kirkcaldy

Police are hunting for the driver who fled their vehicle after failing to stop for officers in Fife.

The incident happened this afternoon in Kirkcaldy, with a vehicle failing to stop when challenged by police on Bennochy Road.

Police say they then caught up with the vehicle abandoned at Linton Lane.

“Police were called around 12.55pm on Friday, 6 November, 2020, after a vehicle failed to stop on Bennochy Road, Kirkcaldy.

“The car was then found unoccupied on Linton Lane and enquiries are currently ongoing to trace the driver.”
