Kelty incident: Man arrested following alleged assault in Fife which left man in hospital

A man has been arrested following an incident in Fife which left another man injured.

A 40-year-old man has been taken to hospital following the incident which happened in Kelty at about 6pm on Friday night.

Police were called to a property in the town at about 9am this morning.

A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.

A police spokeswoman said: “At about 9am this morning we were called regarding an assault where a 40-year-old man had been injured.

"He has been taken to hospital for treatment.

"A 43-year-old man has been arrested.”
