Kirkcaldy incident: man arrested after police swoop on street

A man has been arrested after a disturbance in a Kirkcaldy street.

Police were called to Beatty Crescent early on Saturday evening. Members of the public were seen filming the incident which ended with the arrest of a 39-year old man.

No details have been given, but a police spokesman said: “Around 6.30pm on Saturday, we received a report of a disturbance at Beatty Crescent. Officers attended and a 39-year-old man was arrested.”
