Kirkcaldy man jailed for aggressive behaviour and cocaine possession

Watson (42) admitted that on January 24 this year at an address in Glamis Road in Kirkcaldy he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner causing fear and alarm by shouting, swearing and acting in an aggressive manner towards his partner.

He then struggled with her and threw a mug at a window causing damage.

Watson also admitted that on February 18 this year at Kirkcaldy Police Station in St Brycedale Avenue he had Class A drugs in his possession namely 1.6g of cocaine, contrary to the Misuse of Drugs Act.

He committed this offence while on bail having been granted bail from Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on January 28 this year.

Sheriff Jamie Gilchrist imposed a custodial sentence and ordered Watson to serve 30 days in jail on each complaint to run concurrently.
