Kirkcaldy man sent offensive and menacing text messages

A Kirkcaldy man who admitted sending offensive and menacing text messages to a woman has had his sentence deferred until next month.

Chaz Lomax, of Forth View, was not in Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court when the case called before Sheriff Gilchrist.

Lomax, 20, admitted on April 2, 2021 at an address in Tiree Place, Kirkcaldy he sent a text message to a woman that was grossly offensive or of an indecent and menacing character in that he threatened to harm her and her property.

Sentence deferred until June 10.
