Kirkcaldy woman fined for stealing mobile phone

A Kirkcaldy woman who admitted stealing a mobile phone has been fined £200.

Sandra Blackadder, of Winifred Crescent, was not in court when her case called recently before Sheriff Alison McKay at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.

Blackadder, 45, admitted that on April 11, 2019 at an address in Winifred Crescent, Kirkcaldy she stole a mobile phone.

Sheriff McKay fined her £200 for the theft and ordered her to pay £130 in compensation. It was agreed this would be paid back at a rate of £10 per fortnight.
