Large fires and mass gatherings in Fife in the latest spate of anti social behaviour as lockdown restrictions loosen

The large crowds were gathered at Coul Reservoir in Glenrothes.

The pictures, taken by a drone, show groups of around 30 people gathering around the fires.

Regulations put in place by the Scottish Government removed the Stay at Home message and replaced it with Stay Local.

Only four adults from two households are allowed to meet outside, with social distancing in place and travel between local authorities is for essential travel only.

This comes at the same time as Police were called to the Meadows in Edinburgh after large groups were caught drinking and fighting.

A video that has gone viral on social media shows the moment police wrestle people to the ground after one man has a glass bottle smashed over his head.

Police Scotland has been contacted for comment on the incident which took place on Saturday.
