Leven man admits assaulting paramedic and his partner

A Leven man who admitted assaulting his partner and a paramedic in separate incidents has had his sentence deferred.

Roy McKay, of Aithernie Road, appeared before Sheriff Alistair Thornton at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.

McKay, 39, admitted that on December 10 last year at an address in Mount Pleasant, Leslie he assaulted his partner and spat on her face. He also admitted on the same date and in the same place he repeatedly shouted, swore and kicked a door.

He further admitted on April 15 last year at Glenwood Road, Leslie he assaulted a paramedic and punched him on the body.

And he admitted on January 25 last year at Mount Pleasant in Leslie he shouted, swore and acted in an aggressive manner running towards two police constables, throwing a mobile phone at them, striking one of the officers on the body.

Sheriff Thornton deferred sentence until April 27 for McKay to be of good behaviour and to obtain reports.
