A Leven man has been fined £150 for breaching bail conditions.

Aaron Ednie, of White Avenue, had his case call before Sheriff Alistair Thornton at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.

Ednie, 23, admitted that after being granted bail on March 2 last year under the condition that he was not to approach or contact a woman in any way, did fail to comply in that he did contact her on March 21 last year in Dunfermline.

The Procurator Fiscal Depute told the court the accused and the woman involved in the case were in a relationship and have a child together.

She said police officers in the area saw a group of youths drinking alcohol and the accused was one of them.

She said: “He was belligerent and swore at the officers.

"The complainer was part of the group and had been in the company of the accused for the duration of the evening.

"The accused was cautioned and charged.”
