A Leven man has been fined £200 after he admitted shouting, swearing and repeatedly making violent threats.

James Gear, of Haughgate Terrace, appeared before Sheriff James Williamson at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.

Gear, 51, admitted on January 1 this year at his home address in Leven and elsewhere he behaved in an abusive manner likely to cause fear or alarm by shouting, swearing and repeatedly making threats of violence, contrary to the Criminal Justice and Licensing (Scotland) Act 2010.

Sheriff Williamson fined Gear £200.
