Man arrested after pensioner pushed over and robbed in Fife town centre
A 47-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a robbery in Leven town centre.
The incident happened on a path between North Street and Nairn Street around 9am on Tuesday.
A 79-year-old woman was pushed to the ground and a bag of her groceries was stolen.
The woman was not hurt in the incident.
He is due to appear before Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on today (Thursday) and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
