Man arrested over fuel thefts in Fife, Aberdeen, Lanarkshire, Tayside, and Central Scotland
A man has been arrested in connection with the theft of fuel from filling stations across Scotland.
Police say a 34-year-old man from the Midlands was arrested yesterday at a service station on the A74 at Johnstonebridge in Dumfries and Galloway.
Police have been investigating fuel thefts from filling stations worth around £1000, from Fife, Lanarkshire, Tayside, Central Scotland and Aberdeen.
A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal and the man is due to appear in court today.
