Man assaulted woman at Fife holiday park

A man who admitted assaulting a woman at a Fife holiday park has had his sentence deferred until next month.

Gary Burston, of Hillhead Road, Kirkintilloch, appeared before Sheriff Jamie Gilchrist at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.

Burston, 28, admitted that on August 25, 2019 in a caravan at Kinghorn Harbour Holiday Park, Nethergate, Kinghorn, he assaulted a woman by pushing her from a bed and repeatedly punching and kicking her on the face, head and body while she was on the ground.

Sheriff Gilchrist deferred sentence until January 6.
