Man broke bail conditions and obstructed officers at Kirkcaldy Police Station

Norrie (39), of Cotburn Crescent, Burntisland admitted breaking bail conditions on various occasions between October 4 and October 21 this year by repeatedly entering 200 High Street, Burntisland and attempting to contact Henry and Ray Morrison when his bail conditions, granted on August 10, stated that he was not to enter 200 Burntisland High Street or approach or contact Henry or Ray Morrison.

He also admitted that on October 21, 2020 at Police Scotland, St Brycedale Avenue, Kirkcaldy he resisted, obstructed or hindered two police constables in the execution of their duty and did shout, swear, act in an aggressive manner, repeatedly using his arms and striking a screen with his head.

He committed the offence while on bail having been granted bail on August 10 at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.

Sheriff Thornton deferred sentence until November 2 for a Criminal Justice Social Work report to be considered.
