Man charged after £4000 ring theft from Fife jewellers

Police have charged a man in connection with the theft of a £4000 ring from a Fife jewellers.

The 23-year old will appear in court at a later date.

The diamond ring was stolen from G Masterton’s shop in Leven’s High Street last Tuesday.

Detective Constable Alan Shovlin, of Levenmouth CID, said: "We have been able to return the ring to the owners and we would like to thank them, as well as the public, for their help and cooperation during our investigation."
