Man charged after series of attacks at Glenrothes park

Police in Fife have arrested and charged a 17-year-old male youth in connection with a series of unprovoked assaults at a local park.

The incidents happened on Saturday, 20 March, 2021 at 10pm, at Balbirnie Park in Glenrothes.

The male appeared at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on 29 March, 2021.

Community Sergeant Cheryl Young from Glenrothes Police Station said " Violence will not be tolerated in our community and any such acts will be fully investigated.

"I would like to thank members of the public who assisted police enquiries."
