Man due in court after petrol station robbery

Police have confirmed a man has been arrested and charged following a robbery at a petrol station.

The 33-year old is due to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Monday.

He will appear in connection with an incident at the BP Petrol Station on Windygates Road, Leven in the early hours of Friday morning.

The theft involved a three-figure sum of cash.

Detective Sergeant Mark Millar, who led the investigation, thanked the community for its response.
