Man due in court over Kirkcaldy incident

A man is due in court today, charged in connection with an incident in Kirkcaldy yesterday afternoon.

The 36-year-old is set to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court following an incident which led to one 40-year-old man being rushed to hospital.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “At around 2:55 pm on Thursday, 17 September, 2020, police received a report of a man being injured in Dunearn Drive in the Templehall area of Kirkcaldy.

"Emergency services attended and a 40-year-old man was taken to the Victoria Hospital.

“A 36-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and is due to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Friday, 18 September, 2020. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
