Man faces trial on murder of Darren Adie
Gordon Coventry is accused of killing 42-year-old Mr Adie at Spey Avenue, Kirkcaldy, near to its junction with Napier Street, on May 28.
The 52-year old appeared at the High Court in Glasgow today and denied murdering him by repeatedly stabbing him on the body.

Hide AdCoventry is also charged with assaulting Mr Adie,a father of two, by throwing stones at him, and having a pair of scissors in his possession three weeks earlier on May 7 at Overton Mains, Kirkcaldy.
He is also accused of being concerned in the supply of cannabis and cannabis resin between January 1 and June 13.
Coventry offered to plead guilty to the drugs charge, but this was not accepted by prosecutor, Bernard Ablett.
Coventry, who is on remand at Saughton Prison, was making his first appearance in the dock at the High Court in Glasgow.
Judge Lord Boyd set a trial date for April 3, 2017 at the High Court at Dunfermline.
