Man in court on nine charges after incident in Glenrothes
A man has appeared in court in connection with a disturbance in Glenrothes.
Rhys Wood faced nine charges when he appeared in private at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.

Hide AdIt follows an incident in the town on Tuesday. Police were called to Annandale Gardens in Macedonia, and a 44-year old man was taken to hospital for treatment.
Wood, aged 28, appeared charged with assault to severe injury and permanent disfigurement. He also faced two other assault charges.
He was also charged with stealing a vehicle, driving without insurance or a licence, and while unfit through drugs or drink.

Hide AdFurther charges against Wood, of no fixed abode, included alleged possession of a blade in public, and abusive and threatening behaviour.
He made no plea or declaration, and the case was continued for further examination.
