A man who made violent threats and assaulted a police officer at Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy has had his sentence deferred.

Christopher Adamson, of Westwood Avenue, appeared at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.

Adamson, 28, admitted that on March 7, 2020 at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy he acted aggressively by repeatedly shouting, swearing and uttering threats of violence. He further admitted on the same date and in the same place he assaulted a police officer and struggled with him, attempting to pull him to the ground.

Sentence deferred until February 23.
