Man makes second appearance on murder charge
A Methil man has made a second appearance in court charged with the murder of Kirkcaldy man James Beveridge.
William John Paterson (45), made no plea or declaration to a single charge of murder, when he appeared in private on petition at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.
Paterson was fully committed and remaded in custody, with a date for his next appearance to be confirmed at a future date.
Mr Beveridge (41) was rushed to hopsital following an alleged attack in Farne Court, Kirkcaldy. He later passed away in the Victoria Hospital.
