Man repeatedly shouted and swore at staff and damaged property at Fife hospital

A Buckhaven man who repeatedly shouted and swore at hospital staff and damaged property at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy has had his sentence deferred until April 29.

Ross Duffy, of Den Walk, Buckhaven appeared at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.

Duffy, 30, admitted on March 5, 2021 at an observation ward in Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy he refused to return to his room and repeatedly shouted and swore at hospital staff.

He further admitted on the same date and in the same place he damaged property and kicked a door.
