Man sent abusive messages from Kirkcaldy address to former partner

A man who sent abusive messages to his former partner from an address in Kirkcaldy has been ordered to carry out 180 hours of unpaid work.

Thomas Carter, of West Shore Road, Edinburgh appeared at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.

Carter, 38, admitted between February 1 and March 3 last year at an address in Macindoe Crescent, Kirkcaldy he sent abusive messages to his former partner.

He was sentenced to 180 hours of unpaid work and placed on a 12-month non-harassment order prohibiting him from contacting his former partner.
