Kirkcaldy man shouted and acted aggressively at Fife hospital

Stuart McLeod, of Dysart Road, appeared at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.
McLeod, 47, admitted on February 11, 2021 at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy he repeatedly shouted, swore, adopted an aggressive attitude and made threats while on bail.

Hide AdThe Procurator Fiscal Depute told the court: “The accused, who was on a warrant, was traced by police.
"He had a cut on his forehead so he was taken to Victoria Hospital for treatment.
"The accused was being difficult with staff and police but he was treated for his injury. Afterwards he became abusive to officers. He continued to shout and swear and tried to bite an officer. He was handcuffed and removed from the hospital.”
His defence lawyer said he had reduced his alcohol intake which had had a positive effect.

Hide AdSentence was deferred until January 19, 2022 for McLeod to be of good behaviour.
