Man threatened after disturbing intruder in Cupar
The incident took place around 11.40am on Thursday, September 22 in Station Road.
A man forced entry to a ground floor flat and stole jewellery boxes containing a number of items, some of which were engraved.

Hide AdA 61-year-old resident returned home and challenged the intruder, who then threatened him before making off.
The suspect is described as white, aged 20-30-years-old, 5ft 8-9in tall, of slim build with short brown hair and glasses.
He was wearing a dark blue zipped hoodie, light grey tracksuit trousers and white trainers.
PC Kristin Bellingham of Cupar Police Station said: “We’ve been carrying out a number of enquiries locally and are now appealing for the help of the community in an effort to trace the perpetrator, as well as reunite these items with their rightful owner.

Hide Ad“Anyone who saw suspicious behaviour in the area at this time, recognises the description of the suspect or who may have information on the whereabouts of the stolen items is urged to get in touch.”
