Methil man assaulted two women

A Methil man who admitted assaulting two women is due to be sentenced in the new year.

James Dalziel, of Wellesley Road, appeared before Sheriff Alistair Thornton at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.

Dalziel, 27, admitted that on April 8 this year at an address in Wellesley Road he assaulted two women by punching one on the body and struggling with her and striking the other with his elbow and kicking her on the body.

Sheriff Thornton deferred sentence until January 7 and Dalziel’s bail was continued.
