A Methil teenager has admitted assaulting two police officers and making racially offensive remarks

The 16-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.

He admitted on April 30, 2021 at Sandy Brae Industrial Estate, Kennoway assaulting two police constables by throwing a glass bottle at them and striking them on the body.

The teenager also admitted on the same date at Kirkcaldy Police Station he made racially offensive remarks towards a police constable.

His sentence has been deferred until October 28.
