Ostlers House Care Home: 'No threat to public' announced after bomb squad deal with suspicious package at Kirkcaldy care home

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were called to Ostlers House Care Home in Kirkcaldy around 2.15pm on Tuesday, 10 November, 2020, following a report of a suspicious package.

"A cordon was put in place as a precaution.

"Following examination by EOD (Explosives Ordnance Disposal), it was confirmed that the item posed no threat to the public and was removed from the building."
