Andrew Goodbrand, of Brown Crescent, had his case call before Sheriff James Williamson at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.
Goodbrand, 74, who was not in court, had previously admitted that on December 11, 2019 in the car park of the Lidl store in Mitchell Street, Leven, he drove a car without due care and attention or without reasonable consideration for other persons using the road as he failed to maintain proper observations and failed to observe a female pedestrian on the roadway, colliding with her - whereby she was severely injured - contrary to the Road Traffic Act 1988.
